Membership
To be eligible for end of year awards all riders must be current members of the club at the show they are participating in. All riders that are non-members will be charged a $40 non-member fee and your points from the show will not be counted towards year end awards.

UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.
In exchange for the use of property owned by the Facility Providers and other valuable consideration, I agree that my use of the premises and any animals, facilities, or equipment owned by the Facility Provider is at my own risk. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Equine Activity Sponsors, the Facility Providers, and the Beneficiaries, their officers, members, employees and agents from any and all suits, actions, or claims of any type arising from my use of the premises or the participation in the equine activity or such use by my guest, whether such claims result from the act or omissions of the indemnified parties or otherwise.
Types of Memberships
DHJSC offers several different membership types:
– Junior memberships ($50) for riders under 18 yrs old
– Amateur Memberships ($50) for riders over 18 yrs old
– Family memberships ($80) for families that all participate in the shows
– Trainer memberships ($25) for all participating trainers
DHJSC members, upon their first time registering for membership with DHJSC, will receive a USHJA Outreach membership. If the applicant already has a USHJA membership, please provide that number with your membership renewal in order to avoid confusion at USHJA.
Barn memberships are also available.

TIPs Membership
If you ride a Thoroughbred, you are in luck! DHJSC and the Thoroughbred Incentive Program, also known as TIPs, have teamed up to offer High Point awards at all the club shows and a year-end Award for both High Point TB Hunters and Jumpers. If you do not have a TIPS number for your horse, click here and then come back to register them with us!
